This is definitely a hidden gem - DO NOT miss out. Find your way here and do it often. Exceptional service, delicious margs, delicious food, Carne Asada cooked to order (& perfection), great prices, world series already playing before we walked in, and my teenage son loved every course from the fideo soup on down. If I lived here we would hang out here at least once a week. The perfect blend of great food, reasonable prices, and a warm, welcoming, fun atmosphere.

The service was to die for. Do yourself a favor and order the El Jefe. It is like a flavor explosion. We also got the fajitas and chimi. The fajitas had tons of meat and veggies and were so good. The chimi was I exactly what I need in my life today. Thank you

One of those hidden authentic gems. Small quiet place we found during Covid and keep coming back and they never disappoint. Got the carnitas street tacos crispy and it was amazing. And yes a frosted mug of Pacifico. You gotta try this place and support the local little guys!

I've lived in Henderson for nearly 10 years and I've never experienced such fast, fresh Mexican food with the amazing service that Chavelo's provides! Give this place a try, they literally treat you like family and you'll always leave satisfied! Free chips with salsa and bean dip and great margaritas, too!!

First time, and celebrate my Mexican husband's birthday, it was amazing, we had steak fajitas & shrimp fajitas, they both made delicious, great atmosphere, clean and beautiful Mexican decorations, the great service by Mexican family owner and staff. We'll definitely be back for great Mexican food.
